For the month of April, we are raising money for the Guatemalan Midwife Project to build a new birthing center. In this way, we take radical action on ushering in new life
The Midwife Project is a grassroots initiative protecting traditional midwives in Indigenous Maya communities.
These women lineage birth workers, trusted guides, caregivers, and keepers of generational wisdom.
At a time when children's welfare is being compromised around the world as victims of war and abuse, we aim to take a stand to safeguard innocence on behalf of our future generations.

Lago Atitlan is known as the maternal waters of the world and through caring for the art of sacred birthing in this potent place, we act in solidarity with the sanctity of life, empowering our original capacity to "dar la luz" to give light, to birth naturally and holistically.

By supporting this project, you’re helping ensure that mothers are not alone, that ancient knowledge isn’t lost, and that future generations are welcomed into the world with the support they deserve.

inheritanceCOLLECTIVE will be guided by a diverse Grandmother Council — wise women from many traditions who carry deep cultural memory and lived experience. Their role is to advise leadership and the community, ensuring our actions are rooted in wisdom, inclusivity, and long-term vision.

This initiative has been inspired by feeling confronted with the suffering of the world and unafraid to face it, especially when we are united arm in arm. It has been informed by years of prayers, ceremonies, studies, initiations and the reflections of YOU.
